0 stars should be an option for Sauna Tibet. Horrendous staff. A medical condition (liver/kidney problems) requires me to constantly drink water, so I brought a small empty bottle to refill with tap water. When the employees saw the bottle they became like these super rude monsters, with 0 empathy, potentially putting my health at risk. Not only is the place a disgusting place to begin with, but now also, I can confirm that the people working there are the worst kind of humans that exist. Pluto in Essen is the solution!!!
Unclean and too few toilets, an hour's wait for a farmer's salad, more than five minutes directly at the bar for a drink, too few staff, billing errors despite personal identification (locker number). The sauna is only made for Dutch-speaking customers: staff speaks poor English and no German, instructions almost only in Dutch, despite multilingual clientele. When asking for menu in English, only received a Dutch menu. Credit cards not accepted, no indication what the card reader accepts. Only one vending machine (queue), which has to be used to get the keys for the lockers or to get to one's things in between. Almost all playrooms with waist-high steps, risk of falling. Pillows in the rest cabins are missing. No rooms or standard shower connections for rinsing. No rooms or standard shower connections for cleaning. Complicated or stiff locking mechanism at the toilets. No possibility to put on or take off contact lenses at a clean sink. So disappointingly provincial, we won't be back.
Sauna is great. Clean, neat, and with every facility that is needed in such a place ;D and ofc very nice personnel! my bf and me love to relax there!
the only two small minuses for only two whirlpools. and that sometimes is happens that older men jerk in front of you in some rooms... but well. i think that's not the fault of the sauna itself, but of lack of manners of just a few individuals :) haha
Terrible sanitary conditions are the most important thing! The dirt in the jacuzzi on the sides, black and greasy, it can be seen that it has not been cleaned for a very long time! The restaurant floor is sooo dirty you stick to it! I asked to make freshly squeezed juice, the bartender just took out a decanter and poured it into a glass, he did not make it, although he was not at all busy, and most importantly, it is clear that this is juice from the store! A lot of things are damaged and in need of repair. Dirt everywhere! even the absence of bright lighting does not help to hide it. saunas with steam stink of fungus! that's horrible. soap in the shower slides but does not wash and smells terrible. I did not expect that a meeting in this wonderful country is such a rotten place. On Google maps there is no description and photo of what is in the sauna, you do not understand what you are agreeing to by visiting this place.
I almost forgot. There are security cameras everywhere, even where they don't belong. For what?! I think they leak it to the network.
Wanted to visit the bear-day yesterday. It was so full, that you only can enter, if somebody leaves. There were ca. 15 people in front of us, some waited already longer than 1h. Of course you have to follow regulations. But why not make a bear weekend? Why not selling tickets for a time-window to avoid people from waiting over 1h in line just to enter? Why not raise prices for special events? Or cooperate with the other gay saunas in Eindhoven to not concentrate everything on one spot? Even if we could get in this day: Is it really possible to use the facilities and have fun when even the bar is so overcrowded, that it looks like a disco-dancefloor? There are people like us traveling from far away and it's not very good if you than have to wait over one hour or more until previous guests leave, so you can enter facilities on their limit. I see potential for an organization optimation.
I usually go to this sauna when the weather is good. For they have a part in the open air, to sit in the sun on 'beach chairs'. But unfortunately the last time I went there, this terras was closed due to technical construction issues. Later I heard that this sauna will be closed and sold.
By far the dumbest locker lock in the world.
